Jeremy Alcoba’s 2025 season begins with the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team and the new ZX-6R, equipped with the 636cc engine, with two days of testing in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.
To best prepare for the first round of the Supersport world championship, which will be held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia from 21 to 23 February, the Spanish rider will be busy on the Andalusian track on 21 and 22 January in two days of testing that promise to be very important, and in which Jeremy will begin to get to know and become familiar with his bike and his new team, while Manuel Puccetti’s technicians will begin the development of the new Ninja ZX-6R. It will also be a tough test for his physical condition, as Alcoba hasn’t been on a bike for about two months, due to an injury to his left hand that has now completely healed.
After the Jerez tests, Alcoba and the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team will move to the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, Portugal, for another two days of testing on January 27 and 28.
Manuel Puccetti
“For Jeremy Alcoba and for our Supersport team, the Jerez tests represent the absolute debut on the 2025 Ninja ZX-6R. In Spain we will also have the opportunity to evaluate the physical condition of our rider, recovering from an injury to his left hand. I know he has worked hard to get back in perfect shape and this makes us optimistic for both the Jerez tests and those following in Portimao. We are all eager to get back to work and extremely motivated to give our all, to start the 2025 season in the best possible way”.
Jeremy Alcoba
“I can’t wait to get to know my new bike and my new team! I’ve never stopped training and a few days ago I even did a few laps on a road bike to get back into the swing of things after more than two months without being able to ride a bike. The feelings were positive and so I’m anxious to get on my Ninja ZX-6R and start a season that promises to be fantastic and full of new things.”
