“P5 is a really good result for us. I think we did a really good job yesterday to improve today. It’s true that there were many crashes in front, but we didn’t lose much time to the fastest guys.

I made a really good start but then struggled a little to stop the bike with a full tank. Once the tyre performance dropped and we were carrying less fuel, I started to feel better though, like yesterday, and could get into a rhythm. The red flag meant we finished P5, which I think was realistic, as it wouldn’t have been easy to reach the front group. We can say that we’re closer to the front anyway and have been able to perform well with the bike and the whole package at this track. Let’s see if we can continue like this next time. The pace is there, and I think we’re working well. A big thanks to the team!”
