Rain characterised day two of the eighth WorldSSP round in play this weekend at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France.
On Friday, on a dry track, Can Oncu completed a practice phase and Superpole, setting the twelfth fastest time (1’41”003) in that qualifying session. This result meant that he would have lined up on row four of the grid for the race, which was ultimately postponed until tomorrow morning due to the heavy rain that made for a treacherous track.
The Turkish rider will line up tomorrow for Race 1 in the morning and Race 2 in the early afternoon.
