Two constructive WorldSBK practices for Rabat at Jerez

The twelfth and final WorldSBK round got underway today at Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.

At what is a home track for the rider, Tito Rabat headed out for first practice in cool, sunny conditions. A useful session for the Spaniard, who worked with his technical staff to set up his Ninja ZX-10RR KRT Factory Replica and concluded the practice in nineteenth place with a time of   1’41”492.

In the afternoon’s second session, Tito was able to improve on his best of FP1, setting a 1’40”770 with which he placed eighteenth.

Tomorrow Rabat will be back out for Superpole and Race 1.

“The weekend started well, we were fast and consistent, and I found good race pace. For tomorrow we need to continue with this progression and take another step forward with the setup of my Ninja. We’re just a little over a second from the leaders and it will be important to limit the gap in this way also in the race. The team is working well as always and this leaves me confident for the rest of this final round.”
