The Kawasaki WorldSSP Team has now completed its plans for the 2027 season. After announcing its agreement with Team Green program competitor, David Salvador – current leader of the World SportBike Championship for Kawasaki – it is now confirmed that Jaume Masia will also join the factory Kawasaki team for the 2027 Supersport World Championship.
Born in Algemesi (Valencia) on 31 October 2000, Masia began racing at international level in 2014, when he took part in the Rookies Cup. He then raced in CEV Moto3, before debuting in the Moto3 World Championship in 2017. He continued to compete in Moto3 for five seasons, amassing a total of 10 wins and 27 podiums as well as the 2023 World Championship title.
After one season in Moto2, Jaume decided to switch to World Supersport in 2025, a category in which he immediately demonstrated his innate talent. To date, he has collected five victories and eleven podiums.
Though still young, Masia has already gained significant experience and will be looking to exploit the potential of his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 to achieve the best possible results next season.
