As soon as the last round came to a close at the Cremona Circuit, Kawasaki Puccetti Racing packed up the garage and hospitality to travel straight in the direction of Alcaniz, Spain, where the tenth WorldSBK and WorldSSP rounds are taking place at Motorland Aragon this coming weekend.
The Italian round was very positive for both Tito Rabat in Superbike and Can Oncu in Supersport. The Spaniard scored two top ten finishes, his best results of the season so far, while the Turkish rider was unlucky in race 1, but made up for this by placing seventh in the second race. Manuel Puccetti’s team did not have an easy time at the Andalusian track last year, but both team and riders are keen to continue the recent positive trend this time around.
Also known as “La Ciudad del Motor”, Motorland Aragon is located close to the town of Alcaniz, in the Aragon region of Spain. The track offers various configurations, with the Superbike layout measuring 5077 metres and comprising 17 turns, seven of which right-handers and ten left. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke and is part of a larger complex that is divided into three areas, with a technology park, sports area (which also includes a karting track and various off-road tracks) and a cultural area. The facility has hosted WorldSBK since 2011.

Manuel Puccetti
“We head to Aragon with real motivation after the results achieved at Cremona. The Spanish track is very fast, and we’ll try to find the best setup for our bikes right away so that we can do well in the races.”
Tito Rabat
“I consider Motorland Aragon a home track, I’ve raced there many times and know it well. I hope it can suit the characteristics of my Ninja ZX-10RR KRT Factory Replica so that we can repeat the strong results we saw at Cremona. I also hope the weather is kind to us. I’m pleased to be able to ride in front of the fans.”
Can Oncu
“I like the Motorland Aragon and scored a third-place finish there in 2022. Last season I didn’t do well because I wasn’t fully fit, but this year we’re ready and determined. I’ll do my best to exploit the full potential of the Ninja to score the best possible results.”
