A two-day test for Gerloff at Misano on 20-21 May

Coming down from its best weekend of the season, the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team and rider Garrett Gerloff now travel from Most to Misano, where they will take part in a two-day test session on 20-21 May, in preparation for the seventh WorldSBK round which will take place at the Misano World Circuit on 12-14 June. The squad will use this track time to test new solutions that Kawasaki has prepared for the Ninja ZX-10RR.

Team morale is at an all-time high after the strong results achieved by the American rider in Czechia, and the determination of both the rider and his technical staff has only grown in seeing their hard work on the new Ninja pay off.

The recent Most results are not an end point of course, rather a launchpad to even more ambitious results. To that end, these two days of testing on 20-21 May will be crucial, affording Manuel Puccetti’s team the time to test new components and refine the setup of Gerloff’s bike.

Manuel Puccetti

“Considering the exceptional round we had in Czechia, these tests at Misano come at just the right time. Kawasaki has prepared many things for us to test on the ZX-10RR, and we’re highly motivated and keen to get straight back to work and achieve important results, which are coming ever closer. During the tests, we’ll be able to complete work that is impossible over a race weekend due to a lack of time, and this will allow us to make our Ninja even more competitive.”
