A lot to test at Cremona and Misano

The long break in the championship calendar is almost over with the fourth WorldSBK and WorldSSP rounds set to take place on 14-16 June at the Misano World Circuit. In order to best prepare for the action still to come, Kawasaki Puccetti Racing will complete two tests, the first at the Cremona Circuit on 23-24 May with Can Oncu and Tito Rabat, and the second at the Misano World Circuit on 30-31 May, when only the Spanish rider will take to the track.

As for Oncu’s Ninja ZX-6R, there is a good deal of material to test at Cremona, particularly regarding the chassis, while Rabat and his technicians will work on his Ninja ZX-10RR to test some new configurations and identify a good setup. The test is also an ideal opportunity for both riders to learn and understand the Cremona track, which will serve as the stage for round ten of the world championships in September.

The young Turkish rider is riding high after his recent British Supersport win, secured at last week’s Donington Park round. A result that confirms both his talent and the fact he is in good physical shape once more.

Manuel Puccetti – Team Principal

“These tests at Cremona come at the right time, in that we have various new things to test with Can Oncu’s bike so that we can decide whether to use them at the Misano round. Tito Rabat will continue with his bike development and adaptation work. We will be back at Cremona in September for round ten and so it’s important that both riders get to know the layout as well as possible, seeing as the track is already in its definitive configuration and is new for everyone.”
