The tenth WorldSSP round got underway today at Motorland Aragon in Spain. This is quite literally a home round for rider Jeremy Alcoba, who lives just a few miles from the track.
Alcoba was out this morning for free practice, a session he used to adapt his ZX-6R 636 to the Spanish track, while in the afternoon he took part in Superpole, achieving an excellent third-place finish with a time of 1’52”652, making good use of both his track knowledge and the potential of his bike, so ably prepared by the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team’s technicians.
Jeremy now prepares to start the first of the weekend’s 15-lap races from the front row.

“I’m really pleased with how this first day at Motorland Aragon has gone. This morning, we had a small problem, which was quickly resolved by the team, while in the afternoon’s Superpole I immediately felt comfortable on the bike, finding good feeling. Thanks to the team’s amazing work, I was able to ride with a group of fast riders and set the third quickest time of the session. I need to make a good start in tomorrow’s race if I want to stick with the frontrunners and go all out for the win.”
